Adding a Primary Care Physician to a Chart

Adding and updating the PCP only applies to specialty and not CMSL.  CMSL would only remove if needed.

While viewing a patient's chart:

Click Care Team

Ask the patient if they know the name of their Primary Care Provider(PCP).

Enter the PCP's Last Name

Click +Add

For an advanced search:

Enter the physician's Last Name

Enter the physician's Zip Code

Click Search

Click the Location of your Physician to add them

Be sure to confirm the location of the physician with the patient.

Click Accept

To Remove the Primary Care Provider:

Click End

Click Delete

The Primary Care Provider list will appear blank.
