Introduction

The providers that you will remind/confirm appointments for are Deon (Deon) Johnson-Allen, Susan (Sue) Pappas, and Daane J. Logsdon (Dr. Logsdon).

The name in the parentheses ( ) is how the patient addresses their provider.

Do not call Lori Sobel’s (Dr. Sobel’s) patients.

The reminder calls are for the slots from 7:15am to 9:45am and 13:00pm to 17:15pm.  The appointments that are in the slots from 10am to 11:30am are handled in a different manner.

·       On Tuesday you call Wednesday

·       On Wednesday you call Thursday

·       On Thursday you call Friday

    • Identify the Doctor you are making call backs for

  2. Hove the mouse over the patient's name
    • Hove the mouse over the patient's name

    • The patients phone number will appear

    • SCRIPT: Hello, this is Waterbury Hospital calling I am calling to confirm your phone appointment that you have on (use day and date) at (time) with (provider).

    • If there is confusion on the patient’s end as to what you are calling about here are some tips to mention:

    • This appointment is for your medications or This is regarding your psychiatrist appointment

    • This is Grandview calling (our address is 88 Grandview Avenue; we are located right behind the emergency room. We have our own parking lot)

    • If they need to reschedule let them know someone else will contact them to do that. Send an email to (Nancy Minardi) and cc (Cherae) with that information.

    • If a patient requests a face-to-face appointment instead of the phone call, please let them know that they can certainly come in. Email (Nancy Minardi) and cc (Cherae) for this situation.
