Introduction
It is essential that your SmartHeart® is properly fitted and sized. The size is critical to your SmartHeart® profile and ensures ECG readings are accurate.

Sizing the elastic belt attached to the SmartHeart® is essential to a snug fitting.

Slide the Buckle away from the electrode belt to increase the length

The T-Shaped buckle can be adjusted as you are locking it into place to ensure a proper fitting.

The closer the buckle is to the electrode belt, the shorter the elastic belt will be.

Position the SmartHeart® housing in the center of your chest

The electrode belt should be half an inch below your nipple.

Hold the Electrode belt in place with your left hand

Center and hold the SmartHeart® housing with your left hand

Hold the strap just below the T-Shaped buckle

Place the T-Shaped buckle into the SmartHeart® housing

The T-Shaped buckle only fits in one direction to ensure the strap does not flip.

Slide your fingers under the sides of the SmartHeart® belt

Lift and adjust the belt

To secure the fitting:

Pull the band at the T-Shaped belt

The SmartHeart® electrode belt must be half an inch under your nipple.

Identify the imaginary line from your hipbone to your left underarm

Determine the size segment the imaginary line intersects

In this example, the size determined is "M".
