Introduction
It is essential that your SmartHeart® is properly fitted and sized. The size is critical to your SmartHeart® profile and ensures ECG readings are accurate.
-
-
Sizing the belt attached to the SmartHeart® is essential to a snug fitting.
-
Slide the Buckle away from the electrode belt to adjust the size as needed
-
The T-Shaped buckle can be adjusted as you are locking it into place to ensure a proper fitting.
-
The closer the buckle is to the electrode belt, the shorter the elastic belt will be.
-
-
-
Women can use a bra to help secure the SmartHeart® housing, which can make properly sizing the belt easier.
-
Loosen your bra to accommodate the SmartHeart® belt
-
Position the SmartHeart® housing under your bra, in the center of your chest
-
Run the Electrode belt below your bra
-
The electrode belt should be immediately under the breasts, as high as possible.
-
-
-
Center and hold the SmartHeart® housing with your left hand
-
Hold the strap just below the T-Shaped buckle
-
Place the T-Shaped buckle into the Smart Heart® housing
-
The T-Shaped buckle only fits in one direction to ensure the strap does not flip.
-
Verify the belt is still immediately under the breasts, as high as possible. Lift and adjust accordingly.
-
-
-
Identify the imaginary line from your hipbone to your left underarm
-
Determine the size segment the imaginary line intersects
-
In this example, the size determined is "S".
-
The sizes are marked on the electrode belt.
-
The identified size will be typed into the SmartHeart® application.
